What is DMPonline.be
DMPonline.be is a platform that hosts several Data Management Plans’ templates. It is an Open Source software developed by the Digital Curation Center (DCC, UK).
It is available for every member of the French speaking universities in Belgium, and most of Flemish universities, and their research partners. DMPs can, indeed, be shared and edited by your research partners outside de dmponline.be consortium, who access the platform via their ORCid.
It contains several Data Management Templates corresponding to funders’ expectations (Belspo, European Commission (H2020, ERC), FWO, etc.). Each template is separated in sections and questions, and also provide appropriate guidance.
In Practice:
Log in via your university loogin/password or your ORCid number.
Once logged, choose the funder’s template you want to fill and select your university, to receive appropriate documentation and guidelines (customized by your institution or generic (DCC)).
Once created, you can provide access to your research partners and give them a specific role (read only, edit, etc.). You can also export it in several format.
