Sensorless vector control of the induction motor : simulation and experimental results

Rotor speed estimation can be performed in different ways, more or less sophisticated. A simple method is presented, with the considerations of some changes of the theoretical expression, determined by the simulation results. The estimation has a good behaviour on parameters drift. Experimental results confirm the viability of the method.
