When we talk about racism, we usually discuss its presence in different domains of life. It is of course a necessary first step towards describing and exposing the existence of discrimination and racism. Yet we often do not go beyond that. Frequently, the question of how we can tackle racism is neglected. The fact that cities such as Brussels are "superdiverse" does not automatically solve racism. Thus, this chapter adresses the next step which consists of thinking about, discussing and carrying out strategies to dismantle racism in all areas of life, at both individual and structural level.
