Gestures and Postures of Respect between Social Groups in Ancient Egypt

The use of gestures is considered one of the most important aspects in the ancient Egyptian culture. There are various gestures and movements referring to different expressions. The session discussed the most important gestures and postures of respect that were performed by different social groups of the ancient Egyptian society. It explained the acceptable behaviour between different groups of society in ancient Egypt through different categories of selected representations in temples and private tombs.
