The phenomenon of X-ray coherent scattering by crystals has been considered as a set of N Compton elastic diffusions between the N crystal electrons and N photons. Based on the photon phase operators, the author has constructed a scattering intensity operator, from which a system of eigenvalue equations has been deduced. It is demonstrated how the two-photon probability density and the distribution of the two-photon number can be computed.
