[UCL]
The chapter discusses the differences between standard procedures of revision based on a growing number of documentary evidence and 'historical revisionism' as a specific phenomenon which aims to cast doubt on previously established facts via selective presentation of data or biased interpretative strategies. It underlines the importance of 'responsibility' as a central virtue in assessments of past tragedies.
