Securitization as a source of insecurity. Initial thoughts on post-Brexit border and migration management in the Gibraltar Strait - and the English Channel

Brexit was presented as the solution for Britain to take back control of its national borders. However, a closer look at both the British Channel and the Strat of Gibraltat shows that Brexit could weaken the ability of UK authorities to manage and reduce unauthorised migration to the country.
