Study of two contemporary literary American texts ('My Sister's Bones' by Cathi Hanauer, and 'Hunger Point' by Julian Medoff) whose central topic is anorexia. Parallel analysis of common elements of both texts (sorority, judaism) with special emphasis on religiosity and ritualistic elements characterising this pathology.

Etude de deux textes littéraires américains contemporains ('My Sister's Bones' de Cathi Hanauer, et 'Hunger Point' de Julian Medoff) dont le thème central est l'anorexie. Mise en parallèle d'éléments communs aux deux textes (sororité, judéïté) avec une emphase particulière sur la religiosité et les éléments rituels caractérisant cette pathologie.
