Diabetic lumbosacral radiculoplexus neuropathy in an older patient

diabetic lumbosacral radiculoplexus neuropathy is a particular form of diabetic proximal neuropathy, generally occurring in middle-aged patients with mild diabetes mellitus presenting with (sub-)acute pelvic-femoral asymmetric pain, burning, and allodynia. It is also known as Bruns–Garland syndrome, diabetic amyotrophy, and proximal diabetic neuropathy.
