This article concerns liaison psychiatry clinical practice, Starting with an understanding and delimitation of this field, the author describes the processes of mediation and integration, pointing aut its characteristics, Actually: the intervention procedures in liaison psychiatry run from asking psychiatrist to triangulate the relation with the patient, previously established with a pediatrician, to a triangulation of the patient's demand from the beginning of the medical intervention. Both liaison procedures have at least advantages and disadvantages and it fits with particular contexts and specific pathological manifestations.
