The aim of this paper is to investigate the concepts of "global governance" and of "democracy", their specific standarts, and to evaluate how close they can converge or how far they can diverge. This analysis is based on the one hand on the hypothesis that global governance is to be considered as a plural reality, as globalization is. On the other hand, if specific governance according to different issues should be underlined, a variety of realities also exist behind the concept of democracy.
