Aim : Investigators want to compare the impact of high intensiy (HIIT) and resistance (RES) programs on prostate cancer patient undergoing radiotherapy. Identify efficience with these two programs on fatigue, aerobic capacity, quality of life, depression, sleepiness and executive function. Method : This study is a three-arm randomized controlled trial evaluating 55 patient during four or six weeks throughout their radiotherapy session. Exercise took place three times per week after their treatment. Physical and psychological parameters (questionnaires) and physical condition (field test) were analysed before and after intervention. Results : No program involve fatigue. Functional well-being improvement was shown in the HIIT group. Both exercises program improve aerobic capacity. Conclusion : HIIT program improve functional well-being on prostate cancer patient. HIIT and RES training raise physical condition but didn’t affect their fatigue. Longer research are needed to put forward effect on fatigue in this patient population.
