Information is everywhere. Our knowledge of the trade-offs going on between energy, accuracy and speed for transmitting information is improving everyday and is a crucial topic as it helps us design the ultra-low consumption world of tomorrow. Here, we look at this subject from two different angles : technology and biology. We will study how information is processed via different examples from both worlds and draw a comparison between them from an energetic and processing capabilities standpoint.
