Substrate-integrated waveguide is a promising technology for RF integrated and high-frequency circuits. But to measure them and interconnect them with other transmission line technologies, transitions are necessary. The purpose of this master’s thesis is to design, fabricate and measure wideband transitions between grounded coplanar waveguides (GCPW) and substrate-integrated waveguides (SIW) for the W band. The substrate used is a BenzoCycloButene polymer (BCB).
