Transition to higher education is a major change for most the student. Living outside of the family house mean freedom, but with great freedom comes great responsibility such as controlling eating habit. In this thesis we will focus on the impact of the nutritional label on students and determine the level of understanding and acceptance of the Nutri-Score label. - Do the Nutrition label and Nutri-score influence higher education students’ food choice? - Is the Nutri-score well-known and well-perceived by the higher education students? An observational study based on an online survey was used to gather the data. As result, most of the students are using the Nutrition label and Nutri-score when they are doing the groceries. The Nutri-score is perceived as a good way to choose a healthier product even if most of them don't know how the Nutri-score works. Nevertheless, these results face limitations insofar as several constraints make it difficult to generalise or even infer the results. In this regard, area of improvement and potential future study are proposed.
