This diploma aims to analyze the current situation of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the largest Lithuanian capital companies and offer solutions to improve the current situation. The first part of this paper analyzes the sources of scientific literature, presents the concept of sustainable development, different perspectives of scholars. The first part also presents the SDGs, reporting techniques, advantages for companies, and barriers for companies implementing SDGs. In the second part of this paper, empirical research is conducted, research methodology and selected methods for the study are presented. Two selected methods allow analyzing the problem from different dimensions. In the third part of this diploma paper, problematic aspects, identified during empirical analysis, are presented. In addition, recommendations for solving the identified problematic elements are proposed.
