The aim of a master thesis is for students to think out of the box and to elaborate a research over a specific learning sector, leading to an increase of competences in this particular chosen domain. In this case, the initial observation is the increasing awareness of the numerous societal issues and the need of an increasing global movement around those issues. Therefore, the research question tackled in this thesis is: “What are the added values of a collaboration strategy in CSR fields within the social entrepreneurship sector?”. This issue points out three aspects relevant in today’s management world. The aim being to analyze the possible added values from a collaboration within companies involved in a more social and sustainable environment. In the literature, it is highlighted that a collaboration by itself creates social, environmental or economic value. The significant part is therefore to understand if a collaboration in a social enterprise creates different values than economic and social values. Qualitative interviews are analyzed and the actual values emerging from them are pooled and discussed to answer the research question. The results show that there are different types of added values - eight in this case - when talking about collaboration in the CSR domains of a social enterprise. Moreover, this thesis exposes some positive developments for a sustainable working environment and questions some approaches used in the measurement of social values.
