This master thesis discusses an energy-economy model which was developed by researcher Michael Dale during his PhD thesis. The field of energy analysis is briefly presented. An adaptation of Dale’s model is then developed. Our approach differs from Dale’s one regarding to several assumptions, regarding to the model’s scope and to some parameters and equations. We present and analyse the results of our adapted model. The differences with Dale’s original model are underlined and new conclusions are drawn.
