The Protection of Cultural Property from Intentional Attacks in the Event of Armed Conflict : The Issue of Reparations for Victims at the ICC

This thesis is incorporated within the framework of the protection of cultural property from intentional attacks in the event of armed conflict, and has particularly focused on the issue of reparations for victims at the ICC following the conviction for the war crime established in Article 8(2)(b)(ix) or Article 8(2)(e)(iv) of the ICC Statute. The purpose of this thesis has been to address how the ICC redresses the war crime of intentionally directing attacks against protected objects.
