A great number of industrial processes aim to improve our lives, make it more comfortable or are simply needed to keep our economy going. However, nowadays it is still possible to optimize these processes (like power generation, electricity generation...) in order to maximize their productivity and reduce their costs. Therefore, the central research question for this study is as follows: how does the optimization of a specific industrial process moves towards energy cost minimization. This work concentrates on the optimization of a specific industrial process to move towards energy cost minimization.
