The object of this work is to conceive an interface circuit for thermoelectric generator. Thus, the circuit has to be able to start from a voltage below the threshold voltage of transistors. It also has to provide a sufficient amount of power at its output to start a power management unit. The sizing of the circuit has to be done to maximize the efficiency and fulfill the requirements. In this work, we derived the equations and explained the circuit behavior. This allowed us to propose a sizing of the interface circuit that can start from an input voltage of 40 mV and provide more than 380 mV and 3 microwatt at its output. the maximum efficiency is about 39%
