Ethic in research
You are using or collecting sensitive personal data (= data relating to racial or ethnic origin, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership, genetic and biometric data, health, and sex life)? Your research protocol includes human or animal subjects? Then you should pay particular attention to ethical aspects of data management.
Ethical requirements depend on your research subjects, but may also vary according to your university or research center. Check this out with your colleagues to see whether you should comply with internal rules or consult a local ethical committee.
